Stoke Bruerne & return “with a difference”, Grand Union Canal.

4 nights

This really is “a difference”, because guests choose the route. Yes, honestly! There is a choice of 2 routes up to Norton Junction or down to Wolverton. Either way, there’s a mixture of cruising, locks, a tunnel and scenery. You choose!

Leaving Little Venice towards the Maida Hill Tunnel

Rickmansworth / Little Venice in London, Grand Union Canal.

3 nights, 25 miles, 8 locks

From the country to the city. Pass old quarries and watercress beds, new and old residential areas, the deepest lock on the canal. A mixture of rural, suburban, commerce and industry, mostly without a hint that we are so close to Britain’s capital city. Glimpse Wembley Stadium’s famous arch. At our destination there is always something going on.
