We are pleased to announce that our 2015 routes are now available and can be seen on the website.
For next year as well as travelling the Grand Union from Norton Junction to Brentford, we will also go up to Warwick and along the Paddington Arm to Little Venice, the hub of the London Waterways. There are opportunities to experience the two tunnels between Braunston and Stoke Bruerne.
Our Thames cruises go all the way to Lechlade, the furthest point of motorised navigation. We will also cruise the tidal stretch from Limehouse, ending at Kingston. On this trip we will pass all the London favourites such as Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, London Eye, Tower of London and travel under Tower Bridge. This trip is one we are looking forward to ourselves!
We have also added in the Regents Canal through London, travelling through Regents Park Zoo and Camden. We also call at the Canal Museum in Battlebridge Basin. This is followed by new cruises along the Rivers Lee and Stort, taking us to Ware, Hertford and Bishop Stortford. These routes are quite differently compared, passing quickly into open countryside after central London.
In 2015, we will again do the Kennet and Avon Canal from Reading to Bath, a very popular area, including the Caen Hill flight at Devizes, the Avoncliff and Dundas Aqueducts and Bradford on Avon.
Any of our short cruises can be extended by joining 2 or more cruises together.
